Welcome to, a service of Gateway Newspapers, Tribune-Review Publishing Co. By using this site, you agree to the terms of this Community Agreement and to the Tribune-Review Publishing Co. online privacy policy. This is a legally binding agreement between you and the Tribune-Review Publishing Co. (the "Company"), so please read it thoroughly and carefully. (the "Site") is intended to create an online community meeting place and forum that allows register members to share information in various forms.

  1. Copyright on materials contributed by members is held by the individual creators. Except for personal use only, you may not reproduce, republish or redistribute content from this site in any form without permission from Trib or the original copyright holder.

    All postings, messages, text, files, images, graphics, photos, audio clips, sounds, video or other materials (the "Content") posted on, transmitted through, or linked from the Site, are the sole responsibility of the person from whom such Content originated. You are entirely responsible for all Content that you post, email or otherwise make available through the Site.

    By posting content to the Site, you represent and agree that (1) you are the owner of the content, or otherwise have the right to post such content to the Site, (2) the content is accurate, true and complete and does not otherwise violate this agreement (3) the content will not violate the rights of or cause injury to any person or entity, and (4) you will indemnify the Company for any claims resulting from content that you submit to the Site.

    By posting Content to the Site, you grant the Company, its affiliates and related entities a nonexclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, publicly perform, distribute, display, and create derivative works based on such content throughout the world in any media, and to incorporate such content into other works in any format or medium now known or later developed, for any purpose.

  2. Trib cannot monitor or control Content posted by members, nor is it responsible for Content posted or transmitted to the Site. In addition, the Company is not responsible for Content made available through the site by members.

    By using the site, you may be exposed to offensive, indecent, inaccurate, misleading, or otherwise objectionable material. Use good judgment and common sense when considering information available on the Site. You agree that you must evaluate information on the site and bear the risks associated with the use of that information. You understand that the Company does not screen content, however, it does have the right (but not the obligation) to refuse, delete or move any Content for violating the letter or spirit of this agreement or any other reason. The Company reserves the right to remove any Content for any reason, or for no reason.

  3. Under no circumstances will the Company or its sponsors, affiliates, employees, directors or officers be responsible for any damages of any kind or nature resulting from your use of the Site, including without limitation harm to person, property or business interests, or incidental, consequential or special damages, or attorneys fees, and you agree to indemnify and hold Tribune-Review harmless from any and all claims arising out of your use of the Site.

  4. Proper behavior will help make more successful and useful for its members. Therefore, you agree not to post, e-mail or otherwise make available through the site Content:

    • that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, pornographic, libelous, or invasive of another&undefined;s privacy, or harms minors in any way;
    • that harasses, degrades, intimidates or is hateful toward an individual or group of individuals on the basis of religion, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, age, or disability;
    • that purports to be from any person or entity, including but not limited to a Provider employee, or falsely states or otherwise misrepresents your affiliation with a person or entity;
    • that includes personal or identifying information about another person without that person&undefined;s explicit consent;
    • that is false, deceptive, misleading, deceitful, mis-informative, or constitutes "bait and switch";
    • that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights of any party, or Content that you do not have a right to make available under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships.
    • that constitutes or contains "affiliate marketing," "link referral code," "junk mail," "spam," "chain letters," "pyramid schemes," or unsolicited commercial advertisement;
    • that constitutes or contains any form of advertising or solicitation if (1) posted in areas which are not designated for such purposes; or (2) emailed to Trib users who have requested not to be contacted about other services, products or commercial interests;
    • that advertises any illegal services or the sale of any items the sale of which is prohibited or restricted by applicable law, including without limitation items the sale of which is prohibited or regulated by Pennsylvania law;
    • that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment;
    • that disrupts the normal flow of dialogue with an excessive number of messages (flooding attack) to the Site, or that otherwise negatively affects other users&undefined; ability to use the Site; or
    • that employs misleading email addresses, or forged headers or otherwise manipulated identifiers in order to disguise the origin of Content transmitted through the Site.

    Additionally, you agree not to:

    • contact anyone who has asked not to be contacted;
    • post the same ad in more than one category;
    • "stalk" or otherwise harass anyone;
    • collect personal data about other users for commercial or unlawful purposes;
    • use automated means, including scripts, spiders, robots, crawlers, data mining tools, or the like to download data from or upload data to the Site;
    • post irrelevant Content, repeatedly post the same or similar Content or otherwise impose an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure;
    • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Company&undefined;s computer systems or any other user&undefined;s computer systems, or engage in any activity that disrupts, diminishes the quality of, interferes with the performance of, or impairs the functionality of, the Site.

    Users may report content they believe to be inappropriate or other violations of these terms by using the "Report Misconduct" link at the bottom of any page on the Site.

  5. To post information or comments on the, or to obtain access to certain Site services, you must become a registered member of the Site. In our registration process, you will be required to provide your name, e-mail address, zip code, other contact information. You also will be asked to select a member name and a password. You agree that the information you supply during the registration process, and maintain after registration, will be accurate and complete and that you will not supply the e-mail address of, register under the name of, or attempt to access the site under the name of, another person. We will delete any member account that we believe has been created using false or fraudulent information, and will delete any content posted on the site using such an account.

    The Company reserves the right to reject or terminate the use of any member name that we deem offensive or inappropriate. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Trib password and account, and are responsible for all activities that occur under your password and account. If you discover or suspect any unauthorized use of your password or account, or any other breach of security, you agree to immediately notify Trib We may terminate any member account that is inactive for an extended period of time.

  6. We are concerned about the safety and privacy of children and, therefore, we do not permit children under the age of 13 to register to use the Service.

  7. We reserve the right to terminate the member account of, and to restrict or deny access to our Site or any service provided via our Site to, anyone who violates this Community Agreement or who, in our judgment, interferes with the ability of others to enjoy this Site, or infringes the rights of others.

  8. Classified advertising and business directory listings

  9. The Site offers private individuals the opportunity to place classified ads on the the Site and offers businesses the opportunity to place and/or enhance business directory listings. Placement of classified ads and placement and enhancement of business directory listings is governed by this Community Agreement, including the following specific terms:

    You represent and warrant that no classified ad you post on the Site and no business directory listing you post (nor any enhancement you post to an existing listing) (1) will violate any applicable law, rule or regulation (including, but not limited to, any law relating to false or deceptive advertising), (2) will be libelous, nor (3) will it infringe any right of any third party, including, but not limited to, any contractual right, copyright, trademark or trade secret right or any right of privacy or publicity. You will indemnify and hold the Company, its affiliated entities and its employees harmless against any and all expenses and losses of any kind (including reasonable attorneys&undefined; fees) incurred by them in connection with (4) any breach or alleged breach of this warranty, and/or (5) any classified ad you post, any business directory listing you post, or any enhancement you post to an existing listing.

    The aggregate liability of the Company arising out of any classified ad you post or attempt to post on, any business directory listing you post, and any enhancement you post to an existing listing will be limited to the amount you paid to the Company, if any, with respect to the ad(s) and/or listings out of which the claim arises or the display of the relevant ad or listing at a later time, at the Company&undefined;s discretion. Otherwise, the Company will not be liable to you for any loss, damage, or expense caused by or arising out of the Company&undefined;s failure to display any classified ad or any business directory listing, or the manner in which any such ad or listing is displayed.

    We do NOT permit the following types of postings or advertising on this web site:

    • Pets for sale outside of the Western Pa area. All pet advertising must contain a valid phone number in your ad.
    • Employment advertising
    • Work at Home advertising
    • Businesses promoting credit repair or foreclosure assistance



  10. This agreement may be terminated by either party at any time. Section 3 of this agreement, and any rights granted to the Company under Section 1 of this agreement, will survive any such termination. In addition, the Company reserves the right to alter or modify this agreement from time to time by posting such changes here. By continuing to access the Site, you agree to be bound by the subscription and user agreement as modified from time to time. Furthermore, the Company reserves the right to alter or modify any aspect of the content of Trib, in its sole discretion.
