OFFICIAL INVITATION TO BID
The Greater Latrobe School District is soliciting sealed bids for the following Project in the form of multiple prime contracts:
Greater Latrobe School District – Memorial Stadium
Track Renovation
Sitework and General Construction Contract - Bid #1: Work includes site clearing, earthwork and grading, storm sewer,
scoreboard relocation, painting of stadium light support structures, pavement, track surface, fencing, and related work.
Electrical Contract – Bid #2: Work includes new stadium lighting, new PA/audio system, new scoreboard/game management
system, conduits and ground boxes, power distribution, and related work.
Sealed Bids shall be delivered to Greater Latrobe School District at 1816 Lincoln Avenue, Latrobe, PA 15650 no later than 2:00PM local time on August 27, 2025, at which time Bids will be publicly opened and read. The bid envelope should be clearly marked with “SEALED BID-Contract Name”.
A pre-bid conference will be held on August 13, 2025, at 2:00PM, at Memorial Stadium, 131 Irving Ave., Latrobe, PA 15650; meet at the southwest stadium entrance. After the Pre-Bid Conference, the Bidders will be permitted to inspect the project site by guided tour. Attendance is recommended but not mandatory.
All bids shall conform to the Contract Documents provided by SHP Design, LLC. Electronic Contract Documents will be available on or after July 23, 2025, and may be obtained for free via e-mailed link upon request to Todd Thackery, tthackery@shp.com .
Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of 10-percent of the base bid PLUS any Add Alternates in the form of a certified check or bid bond made payable to Greater Latrobe School District.
The School District reserves the right to waive any informality in, or to reject, any or all, or parts of any and all bids. No bids may be withdrawn for at least 60-days, subsequent to the opening of bids, without the consent of the Greater Latrobe School District.
