2025 STORMWATER POND IMPROVEMENTS

 

Public notice is hereby given that North Huntingdon Township will receive sealed bids at the Township Office, Town House – 11279 Center Highway, North Huntingdon, PA 15642, until 10:00 am prevailing time Tuesday, August 5, 2025, for Contract No. 2025-05.

 

All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Township Office at Town House - 11279 Center Highway, North Huntingdon, PA 15642, at 10:00 am, Tuesday, August 5, 2025.

 

Scope of work includes but not limited to the following:

- Retrofitting up to a maximum of 7 existing stormwater basins within North Huntingdon Township dependent upon the submitted bids vs. the available funds in the Township’s budget for this year’s stormwater projects. The general scope at each basin will include the installation of E&S controls, removal of sediment and debris from within the basins to an approved and permitted site of the contractor’s choosing, installation of proposed underdrains with connection to outlet structure, and restoration and seeding of impacted areas.

A certified bank check or bond payable to North Huntingdon Township or a bid bond on the bid form executed by the Bidder and a surety company approved by the OWNER, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of bid, must be submitted with each bid, or bids will be considered nonresponsive and immediately rejected. No bid bond shall be waived or returned because the Bidder has failed to or cannot comply with any requirements as set forth in the plans, specifications, or any applicable statues of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or any applicable ordinances. No bid may be withdrawn for (60) sixty days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids.

 

Bidder must insure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, or nation origin.

 

North Huntingdon Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding.

 

Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage rates will be required on this project.
