INVITATION TO BID Mt. Lebanon School DistrictnPittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15228 DISTRICT WIDE ATHLETIC FIELD MAINTENANCE Elementary and Middle Schools Sealed bids will be received by the Mt. Lebanon School District, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, until the 14th day of December 2015, at 9:30 a.m. local time.nContract term is for one year with an option to renew for an additional year and includes but is not limited to the following: Laser Grade and Redefine Infields with a dual plane laser system to provide positive surface drainage with infield grading and crown establishment, Add topsoil to low areas, Edge and Lower infield surface at turf grass so that the edges are defined and no hump exists creating a hazard, Removal of sod, Rebuilding batter boxes, Re-setting home plate, pitchers mound, and bases, Applying 50/50 Diamond Pro/Fielders Choice conditioner, Mat dragging and rolling of infields, All fields will be edged, weed controlled, scarified and aerated as needed to relieve compaction and remove any vegetative growth, Application of starter fertilizer to all turf areas and apply dormant fertilizer to all turf areas.nBids should be addressed to Mt. Lebanon School District, 7 Horsman Drive, Pittsburgh PA 15228. The bid envelope should be clearly marked "Sealed Bid for District Wide Athletic Field Maintenance" - DO NOT OPEN UNTIL 9:30 AM, DECEMBER 14, 2015. A cashier's check or a bid bond in an amount equal to ten (10) percent of the bid payable to Mt. Lebanon School District, Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania, shall be submitted with the bid to guarantee the bidder's entrance into a contract if given the award.nNo bid may be waived or returned because the bidder has failed to, or cannot comply with any requirements as set forth in the plans, specifications, or any applicable legal statutes.nNo bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the time of opening the bids as provided by the Act of November 26, 1978 (P.L. 1309, No. 317), as amended by the Act of December 12, 2994 (P.L. 1042, No. 142).nBidders must comply with all State antibid-rigging regulations pertaining to work associated with the project, and will be required to submit an executed non-collusion affidavit with the bid.nSpecifications may be obtained from the Facilities Department, Mt.
